In terms of installation scenarios, copper plated studs mainly serve the fixed needs of ship insulation cotton. The insulation cotton needs to be fixed with densely arranged nails to form a continuous insulation layer. The "general cap" structure (i.e. locking plate fixing cap) of this accessory can tightly engage with the nail body through rotation or tapping, preventing the insulation cotton from loosening during vibration. In addition, its customizable model specifications can be adapted to insulation cotton of different thicknesses, and the complete packaging specifications of nail models can meet the one-stop procurement needs of large ship engineering.
Product Features
Common materials include low-carbon steel (such as Q195) and aluminum alloy, among which aluminum studs are lighter in weight and have better corrosion resistance than stainless steel, making them suitable for aluminum structures in ships.
Surface treatment is mostly copper plating or zinc plating. Copper plating technology improves conductivity and welding firmness, and its anti-corrosion performance is better than ordinary galvanized steel nails.
The length can be extended up to 150 millimeters, and with the use of specialized glue and general cap accessories, it can compress insulation materials (such as rock wool) and prevent loosening.
