Product Description
From the perspective of material characteristics, the substrate of copper plated nails is made of galvanized iron, and the zinc layer can initially block seawater corrosion. The surface copper plating further forms a dense oxide film, delaying the electrochemical corrosion process. This double-layer protection design extends its service life by 3-5 times compared to ordinary iron nails, especially suitable for long-term submerged ship bottoms or deck areas. Its standard weight design of 2kg ensures the structural strength of a single nail and facilitates manual installation by workers, avoiding a decrease in operational efficiency due to excessive weight.
Product Features
Common materials include low-carbon steel (such as Q195) and aluminum alloy, among which aluminum studs are lighter in weight and have better corrosion resistance than stainless steel, making them suitable for aluminum structures in ships.
Surface treatment is mostly copper plating or zinc plating. Copper plating technology improves conductivity and welding firmness, and its anti-corrosion performance is better than ordinary galvanized steel nails.
The length can be extended up to 150 millimeters, and with the use of specialized glue and general cap accessories, it can compress insulation materials (such as rock wool) and prevent loosening.
