The correct usage method of insulation nails

2025-08-25

In building insulation engineering, insulation nails are key small components for fixing insulation materials. It is mainly used to firmly stick insulation layers such as rock wool board and glass wool on the surface of walls or air ducts, to prevent the insulation effect from decreasing due to looseness. Aluminum material has good corrosion resistance and portability, making it suitable for long-term use in humid or high-temperature environments, such as central air conditioning duct systems. Self adhesive design greatly improves construction efficiency, without the need for additional glue or tools, and can be quickly fixed by tearing off the backing adhesive. Scientific nail spacing arrangement can effectively reduce thermal bridging effect and improve overall energy-saving performance.

The last time I did a duct insulation renovation, I used this aluminum self-adhesive insulation nail, which really saved me a lot of trouble. Its nail head is flat and will not pierce the insulation cotton. The aluminum material has a solid texture and is not easily broken when bent. What I am most satisfied with is the strong adhesion of the backing adhesive, which is firmly attached to the metal air duct without any detachment. During construction, one person can easily operate without repeatedly adjusting the position, saving a lot of time. After fixing the rock wool board with it, the entire insulation layer is very snug, the edges are neat, and the visual and practical aspects are greatly improved. Especially for devices like central air conditioning that require long-term operation, a stable insulation layer means lower energy consumption and a quieter operating environment.
